Afri-Ski Mountain resort is the premier ski resort in Lesotho, located in the Northern section at an altitude of above 3000 meters ASL. The 4 star resort offers a range of accommodation from luxury self catering lodges all the down to basic backpackers for the student set. The snow season is from June through to 1st September. This footage was filmed on October 22nd, 2013, but snow had fallen the day before. The resort also caters for summer season adventurers offering abseiling, mountain biking, quad bike and 4x4 trails and of course, hiking. On the night we spent there, there was no water supply which meant no showers or toilet facilities which was awkward to say the least. The management claimed the water had frozen in the pipes, but we doubted that as the minimum temp was 4C that night...
